Note that Alfred Hitchcock used the two taglines "The birds is coming!" and "The birds is here!" on several different types of advertising for this movie, no doubt because he thought it was funny that while it is technically grammatically correct when referring to the movie, they "sound wrong"! The poster has darkened somewhat throughout and it has some light rippling and creases mainly along the right and left edges. The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in two light vertical foldlines at left and right and the upper blank border was folded back at one time. It has a few tack holes around the edges and some of those are backed by yellowed tape (but fortunately the tack holes only affect blank paper). This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that many or most of the light rippling can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration and linenbacking the poster will display well (but of course bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.)
