It was originally a family magazine, then a literary magazine and before becoming a women's magazine in 1965. Cosmopolitan magazine is one of the best-selling magazines and is directed mainly towards a female audience, and is often referred to as "Cosmo". Artist: Harrison Fisher Important Added Info: Note that this special advertising poster has a great artwork image of Marion Davies by Harrison Fisher on one side, and an ad for the novel "Voodoo Moon" on the reverse (and Voodoo Moon would be made into a Columbia movie called "Black Moon" starring Fay Wray). Also note that this poster, which is printed on a heavy paper stock, would have been given to newsstands to display so that it would aid in selling issues of this magazine. Condition: very good.
