Walthall, Fritz Leiber, George Irving, Irving Pichel, and Frank McGlynn Sr. (who played Abraham Lincoln 12 times in his career). Note that famous actor Lew Ayres first tried directing in this movie, and then he waited 20 years to direct another one, which was a documentary, and waited another 20 years to direct a third (which was a remake of his earlier documentary)!
