An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Together Again, the 1944 Charles Vidor political romantic comedy ("The year's most exciting romantic comedy!"; "Kissing again! Romancing again! Loving again!"; "Their gayest, most exciting love affair!"; about a lady mayor of a small town who takes the seat after her husband, the former mayor, passes away; she hires a sculptor to create a statue of her late husband, and naturally, they fall in love, with the help of father-in-law Charles Coburn) starring Irene Dunne, Charles Boyer, Charles Coburn, Mona Freeman, and Jerome Courtland. Note that the title of this movie does not make any sense in relationship to the plot of the movie, but rather it refers to the fact that Dunne and Boyer were "together again", after having had a major success in 1939's "Love Affair", and "When Tomorrow Comes", also from 1939. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had paper loss at the crossfolds and tiny creases and a few tiny tears in the vertical foldline. There was minor wear on the other foldlines and pinholes in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well. Learn More about condition grades
