An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) George Nader was an actor from the 1950s to the 1970s. He was one of the closeted gay homosexual actors in Hollywood in the early 1950s. He was under contract to Universal, along with Rock Hudson, and rumor has it that Confidential magazine was intending to run a story that Rock Hudson was gay, and that Mr. Nader made a deal in which he agreed to be "outed" in return for them not running the story on Mr. Hudson, which hurt his career (search the internet for more on this!). Some of his movies include: Monsoon, Carnival Story, and Beyond Atlantis. He passed away in 2002 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by George Nader! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: very good to fine.
