An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

The Life of the Party, the 1930 Roy Del Ruth romantic pretty-girls-searching-for-rich-husbands comedy (about two girls, one a gold-digger, and one a "good" girl, and one searches for a rich husband, and one for true love, and they both kind of get what they are looking for) starring Winnie Lightner, Irene Delroy, Jack Whiting, Charles Butterworth, Charles Judels, and John Davidson. Note that the plot of this movie was "borrowed" (and expanded to three girls) and became the plot of "How to Marry a Millionaire", starring Marilyn Monroe.

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"!
