Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Son of the Navy, the 1940 William Nigh boy-and-his-dog Naval military family melodrama ("Original Story by Grover Jones, True Boardman"; "Screenplay by Marion Orth, Joseph West") starring Jean Parker, James Dunn, Martin Spellman, Selmer Jackson, William Royle, and Sarah Padden NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. There are many stains, smudges, creases, and tears around the edges of the poster. There are light scuff marks and stains throughout the image. This poster has the single worst restoration attempt I have ever seen! The top left corner. Note that this poster has never been folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded twice (once horizontally and once vertically) right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Learn More about condition grades
