An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 8" x 8 3/4" [20 x 22 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) Swing Time, the 1936 George Stevens romantic love triangle musical dancing comedy ("With six new haunting melodies by Jerome Kern composer of 'Roberta'"; "Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers in the captivating climax of their gay young lives!..."; about a man and woman who are supposed to marry others, but they end up falling in love with each other) starring Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Victor Moore, Helen Broderick, Eric Blore, Betty Furness, Georges Metaxa, and Dennis O'Keefe. Note that this was one of the nine wonderful movies that Astaire and Rogers made between 1933 and 1939 (they made one final movie, "The Barkleys of Broadway", thirteen years later in 1949). Note that this is from a wonderful collection of heralds we were recently consigned. We auctioned the first 30 from this collection (the very best ones) in our just-concluded April Major Auction.
