The Gay Defender, the 1927 Gregory La Cava silent Old California Gold Rush romantic adventure melodrama ("Story by Grover Jones"; Dix plays an "aristocratic youth" who turns into a "terrorizing night-riding Robin Hood") starring Richard Dix, Thelma Todd (in an early role), Fred Kohler, Jerry Mandy, and Robert Brower. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Condition: good to very good. Someone made a huge list of movies on the back of the card in pencil, and they crossed them off one by one, but hardly any of that writing has any effect on the front. There is a pinhole in each corner with a small tape on the back of each. The card displays really well!
