Thrills!"; "One of the true stories of living colored examples."; "A Stirring epic of the Oil Fields"; "Produced by Norman Studios, Arlington, FLA."; "With An All-Colored Cast"; "All Colored Cast"; "The sensational western is here") starring Lawrence Criner, Kathryn Boyd, Steve Reynolds ("Peg"), L.B. Tatums, Alfred Norcom, and "the entire All-Colored City of Tatums, Oklahomo [sic]". Note that a knowledgeable collector tells us that Richard E. Norman, who was a white man, not only produced this film but also directed it even though he is not credited on the poster or IMDb. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook was designed to be folded vertically and then horizontally, and then folded twice from there, which then left an address area on one side, so that this pressbook could be mailed to theaters. We have seen examples of this pressbook that have those multiple folds. However, this pressbook has never been folded, which is much nicer if you want to display the cover of it (which is an "exact reproduction of the window card"). Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!
