An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Adventure, the 1945 Victor Fleming romantic love triangle gambling melodrama ("Victor Fleming's Production of MGM's Adventure"; "Based on a novel by Clyde Brion Davis") starring Clark Gable (this was Gable's first movie after three years in World War II, and the tagline was "Gable's back and Garson's got him!"), Greer Garson, Joan Blondell, Thomas Mitchell, Tom Tully, John Qualen, Richard Haydn, Lina Romay, Harry Davenport, Betty Blythe, and Pierre Watkin. Note that this movie was the first one that Clark Gable made after serving in World War II, and that is why the tagline for the movie started with "Gable's back", because he enlisted in the war, as did so many other top stars!

Condition: very good. There are pinholes and some smudges around the edges of the card, but otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition! There were two pieces of brown paper tape on the back of the center of the top border. Someone removed one, causing some surface paper loss on the back of the card (which does not affect the front).
