An Original Vintage Unfolded Japanese "B1" Poster (29x41; measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]) (Learn More) the 1983 Japanese double-bill release of Tang Shan Da Xiong (released in Hong Kong as "Tang Shan Da Xiong/The Big Boss", released in the U.S. in 1973 as "Fists of Fury"), the classic 1971 Lo Wei Hong Kong kung fu martial arts thriller ("Karate/Kung-Fu!"; "The new screen excitement that gives you the biggest kick of your life!"; "Karate/Kung-Fu! The oriental sensation - now gives America the action its been waiting for!"; "No evil on earth could survive the fury that was Bruce Lee!") starring Bruce Lee ("every limb of his body is a lethal weapon"), Maria Yi, Han Ying Chieh, Tony Liu, and Malalene. Note that this movie (and "The Chinese Connection") received very limited release in the United States until after the success of "Enter the Dragon", at which point both movies received wide U.S. releases. Also, note that Australia distributed this movie as "The Chinese Connection", and released Lee's next movie (Jing Wu Men) as "Fist of Fury", which further complicates things! AND Jing Wu Men (released in the U.S. in 1973 as "The Chinese Connection" and as "Fist of Fury", which makes a confusing situation even more confusing, since Lee's other early hit was "Fists of Fury" in the U.S.), the classic 1972 Lo Wei Hong Kong kung fu martial arts fighting action crime thriller ("Unstoppable! Unbelievable! Unbeatable!"; "The Master of Karate/Kung Fu is back to break you up, smash you down, and kick you apart with 'The Chinese Connection'"; "The fateful day Chen Chen vowed vengeance"; produced by Raymond Chow) starring Bruce Lee ("The greatest exponent in the art of kung-fu"), Maria Yi, Nora Miao, Robert Baker, and James Tien. Note that this movie received a very limited release in the United States until after the success of "Enter the Dragon", at which point it received a wide U.S. release. Also, note that Australia distributed this movie as "Fist of Fury", and released Lee's previous movie (Tang Shan Da Xiong) as "The Chinese Connection", which further complicates things! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this rare Japanese "B1" poster measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall! Condition: good to very good. The poster has some darkening, smudges and creases around the edges and some light creases scattered in various areas. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
