An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

The Kiss Before the Mirror, the 1933 James Whale romantic love triangle murder mystery crime melodrama (based on the play by Ladislas Fodor; a clever story of a prosecutor trying a case where a man has killed his wife who is having an affair, and it looks like he will get away with it, and then the prosecutor suspects that his own wife is having an affair, and he thinks that he might be able to also kill her and get away with it!) starring Nancy Carroll, Frank Morgan, Paul Lukas, Gloria Stuart, Jean Dixon, and Walter Pidgeon (as the man who has an affair with Gloria Stuart, credited as "Lucy's Lover"). Note that this movie was remade five years later as "Wives Under Suspicion", starring Warren William and Gail Patrick.

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
