the theatrical release of the boxing sports match ("Extra! Extra! Extra!"; "Exclusive Fight Pictures"; "Joe Louis vs. Jersey Joe Walcott in Official Fight Films of Their World's Heavyweight Championship Battle"; "All the Highlights - Round by Round - Blow by Blow - Better than a Ringside Seat") between Joe Louis and Jersey Joe Walcott that took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York on December 5th, 1947. In the days before television was widely available, boxing matches were almost always filmed and then released to movie theaters, and the best matches often were extremely popular with moviegoers.

Condition: very good. There is minor scuffing in the foldlines. There is a piece off the left corners and minor smudges in the blank borders. There is 2 1/2" of separation in the right end of the center foldline (held together from the back with tape). The top bleeds through to the front in the right blank border (slightly extending into the image background).
