His career declined in the 1960s until he moved to television in the 1970s and 1980s. Some of his movies include: The Caine Mutiny, The Purple Rose of Cairo, Battleground, Command Decision, Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo, and State of the Union. Johnson passed away in 2008 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) TWICE by Van Johnson! He first signed on the front cover but then realized it wasn't very legible over the printing, so he signed it again with an inscription on the back cover. Our consignor obtained this photo from his wife's uncle, who was a makeup artist on Broadway in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Condition: very good to fine. The playbill is in nice condition!
