Verso L'Amore (literally translates to "Towards Love"), the 1913 Ubaldo Pittei Italian silent romantic melodrama short starring (about two sweethearts who drift apart but are reunited when the man's mother becomes ill) Carlo Benetti, Olga Benetti, Virginia Delfini Campi, Bianca Lorenzoni, and Ubaldo Pittei. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare pre-World War II Italian poster, which we have only auctioned once before! Virtually no Italian posters survive from the 1940s or earlier, because during World War II there were many paper shortages resulting in the destruction of almost all pre-World War II posters!

Also note that this Italian three-panel was printed in 3 sections designed to overlap. Finally, note that the theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces).
