An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Teaser One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) Return of the Jedi (now known as "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi"), the classic 1983 Richard Marquand outer space science fiction (sci-fi) action adventure epic sequel ("Return to a galaxy far, far away!"; "The Saga Continues"; "The movie everyone's been waiting for!"; written and produced by George Lucas) starring Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Billy Dee Williams (as Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels ("as C-3PO"), David Prowse (as the man in the Darth Vader suit), Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), Peter Mayhew (as Chewbacca), Frank Oz (as the voice of Yoda), James Earl Jones (as the voice of Darth Vader), and Alec Guinness (as Obi-Wan Kenobi) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Drew Struzan Important Added Info: Note that everyone knows that this movie was ultimately titled "Return of the Jedi", but that it had the original working title of "Revenge of the Jedi". Teaser posters were made with the working title, and they were made in both a dated and undated version. There are many reproductions of both versions, but we have carefully examined this poster, and we are 100% certain that it is an original dated "Revenge of the Jedi" teaser one-sheet! Also note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition. Also note that this is a rare teaser one-sheet (note the complete lack of credits on the poster and the "Coming May 25, 1983 to your galaxy." at the bottom of the poster). Condition: very good to fine. There are creases down the right blank border. There are also a few creases and scuff marks scattered throughout the poster (likely caused when the poster was rolled and unrolled), but they are truly barely noticeable at all.
