McGowan Our Gang juvenile comedy (produced by Hal Roach) starring Allen 'Farina' Hoskins, Mary Ann Jackson (7 year-old child actress, one of the first child stars of the 1920s; she later appeared in "Our Gang" comedies; she made a total of 70 movies between 1925 and 1931, after which she retired at the age of 8!; she had a much older sister, Peaches Jackson, who made movies around the same time, and oddly, often played boys!), Bobby Hutchins, Jackie Cooper, Norman Chaney, Stepin Fetchit, and Pete the Dog NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a one-sheet from the late 1940s and early 1950s Monogram series of re-releases of Our Gang shorts. To save money, Monogram made a generic one-sheet that showed a full-color image of Our Gang kids from many different years of the series (with the words "LITTLE RASCALS" above the title, because that is how the series was known in re-release) with the title of a specific short at the top, and they listed a bunch of kids at lower right, and in many cases, the kids they showed or listed were not the kids in that specific short! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a few tears to the left of the top and bottom crossfold, but otherwise had only very minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that at some point after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are now minor creases in the top right (solely in the excess linen, and not in the poster itself).
