Note that for many years, it was believed that the author of the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird", Harper Lee, had only written this one book and never wrote another (she was childhood friends with Truman Capote, and most believe John Megna's character in the movie is based on Capote, and some believe that Capote helped Lee write the novel). But in 2014, it was discovered that Lee had written an earlier novel, called "Go Set a Watchman", before "To Kill a Mockingbird", but it was never published until 2015, and was published exactly as it was written, in 2015 (Lee was 88 years old at the time of publishing, and did not publicize the "new" book)! Important Added Info: Note that this is one of two lesser condition one-sheets from "better" movies that we were consigned (we auctioned the first seven of these last time, and now we are doing the remaining two). The person who owned these nine posters intended to get them linenbacked, and properly restored, but circumstances caused them to never get around to doing that, so we auctioned seven of them last time, and now the remaining two (in two separate auctions), and then there are no more of these. Certainly, this poster, after proper restoration will display really well, but bear its defects in mind before bidding. Condition: fair. The poster had water stains scattered throughout that have discolored and likely have mold and mildew in them. Certainly a talented restorer can remove the staining and kill the mold and mildew at the same time, and after proper linenbacking the poster will display well, but bear these considerable defects in mind before bidding on this poster.
