Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Batman, the 1943 Lamber Hillyer classic DC Comics comic book superhero action adventure crime fighting serial ("A hundred times more thrilling on the screen!"; "A Columbia Chapter Play"; "the great action serial thriller!"; "All the action and thrills of the comic strip multiplied a hundred-fold!"; "In the hands of his enemies! Can Batman escape?"; "Daring in action! Superhuman against odds!"; "The all-American hero in super-human thrills!"; "Red-Blooded Americans Versus the Wily Nipponese!"; "Watch Batman deal death and defiance to his enemies!"; "See Batman turn the tables on the wily Jap!"; "Based on the Batman Comic Magazine Feature appearing in Detective Comics and Batman Magazines"; note that because this serial was made during the middle of World War II, the villains in the movie are Japanese, and they are the stereotyped Japanese villains of that time) starring Lewis Wilson (in the title role as Batman), Douglas Croft (as Robin), J. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The slide and holder are in about as good condition as can be expected (there is just slight aging to the holder).
