After contributing to several key British groups of the early 1960s, McLaughlin made Extrapolation, his first album as a bandleader, in 1969. He has been awarded multiple Guitarist of the Year and Best Jazz Guitarist awards. Important Added Info: Note that the jacket of this record has been personally autographed (signed) by John McLaughlin! Our consignor worked at the record label that released this album and he acquired this autograph in person when it was released. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
