An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 13" x 30" [33 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) Columbia, the 1950s Australian stock poster for theaters showing Columbia Pictures films. Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank areas. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Sometimes stock posters are found with blank snipe areas. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. The poster was folded somewhat oddly, resulting in fold and edge damage and it has patchy discoloration scattered in some areas from exposure to moisture (see our image).
