Desperate Journey, the 1942 Raoul Walsh World War II (WWII) military action thriller ("Commandos on the loose!"; "Man alive, just picture this excitement!"; "Bomber crew crash-lands in the heart of Germany! And off they go on a 5-man commando raid to Berlin and back! A screaming, screen-shaking once-in-a-lifetime adventure!"; about an English bomber plane that is shot down over Poland by the Nazis; they make their way through Germany back to England, and they kill many Nazis along the way, but lose a few of their men) starring Errol Flynn, Ronald Reagan, Nancy Coleman, Raymond Massey, Alan Hale Sr., and Arthur Kennedy

Condition: fair. The poster had small paper loss at several crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines, and some pinholes and darkening around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed onto a thin linen and at some point after it was backed, it became water stained down the left 3-5" (both the poster and the linen). This is quite noticeable and causes the linen to be quite rippled. I would imagine that a restorer could remove the poster from the old linen and re-back it, repairing the water damaged area, but it might be quite expensive, so please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept it as it is or are willing to pay the cost of having it re-backed.
