Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had creases along the top foldline, and minor wear on the other folds. There were pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed on to a very thin linen, and no excess linen was left around the edges of the poster. The poster is still in generally good condition, but it is very slightly separating from the linen in a few places around the edges, so it would likely make sense to have the poster removed from the thin linen and backed on to a heavier linen.
