An Unfolded Danish Travel Poster (measures 24" x 39 1/4" [61 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) Wonderful Copenhagen, the 1963 Danish travel poster used to promote tourism in Copenhagen, Denmark, and featuring Des Asmussen art of a crowd of people watching fireworks over the Tivoli Gardens (the legendary amusement park "and pleasure garden" in Copenhagen, which opened in 1843, and is the second oldest still-operating amusement park in the world, and it has millions of visitors every year). Artist: Des Asmussen Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster before! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There is a diagonal crease at upper left and some slight discoloration under that, but it is not very noticeable or distracting on the front. There are tiny creases under the upper edge and there are a few light creases scattered in the poster. It is otherwise generally in pretty nice condition and really colorful and one can certainly display the poster as is, or after some proper restoration it would look great!
