If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had a fine pen mark from the mouth of the girl at middle right down to the mouth of the man on the ground. It had another pen mark between the mouths of the woman at lower left and the man at upper right. It had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some separation and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. It had tiny pinholes and tears around the edges and a few pinholes scattered in the image and a small stain in the bottom center of the image. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer did not do much to disguise the pen marks described above, and also, the poster was not well backed, because it is "lifting" from the linen in the bottom border, and this caused a tear in the right of the bottom border. Any restorer could repair this without re-backing the poster, but bear this in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
