Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The window card was folded in half and had rough creases along that fold. It had many creases in the solid black area above the title, extending into Novak's body. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but mounting it has somewhat lessened how noticeable the creases are, but they are still noticeable.
