Millarde silent romantic family relationship crime inheritance melodrama ("Blue Eyed Mary and her sprightly adventures in the field of love"; about a rich old lady who disowns her son when he marries "beneath him", and names her nephew as her heir, but years later, her teen granddaughter comes to stay with her, in the hopes of reconciling her father and grandmother, and meanwhile, the nephew tries to rob his rich aunt, and the teen girl gets blamed for it, but everything works out in the end) starring June Caprice (in the title role as Mary Du Bois), Helen Tracy, Blanche Hines, Bernard Randall, and Thomas F. Fallon. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this six-sheet! Not only that, but included with the six-sheet is an original glass slide for it (see our image), plus an order form from a theater in Wisconsin who was leasing it from Fox Films for $10 (and interestingly, they paid $0.20 extra for "posters", which we would think would be THIS poster, since it was the only one found with this receipt. Also note that this six-sheet was printed in 6 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good. The poster has much darkening on the parts that were on the outside when it was fully folded, with some light water stains scattered in parts of the poster. It is fragile and there are some creases and several tears along the folds that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on the other folds, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds, and some tears and small paper loss in the borders. Overall, it has survived pretty well considering it is over a century old, and after linenbacking, it will display really well, but bear all of the above in mind before bidding.
