An Original Vintage Campaign Book (measures 11" x 15" [28 x 38 cm]; 16 pages) (Learn More) It's Gonna Be A Hot Summer!, the 1982 20th Century-Fox campaign book, sent to theater owners to encourage them to show 20th Century-Fox movies. The book includes 16 pages of full color two-page spreads on movies that 20th Century-Fox released in the summer of 1982, including Author, Author!, Young Doctors in Love, The Pirate Movie, Star Wars (the 1982 re-release), and more! Note that every two-page spread has an image from the film or the poster reflected in sunglasses, with the credits for the film on the lower half of the pages. Finally, note that the last two pages have previews for movies released around the holiday season of 1982 ("and sizzling for Christmas."), including The King of Comedy, The Empire Strikes Back (the 1982 re-release), and Monsignor. We have never seen this really cool "sunglasses" style Star Wars image before! Note that this was distributed both individually and also a version was inserted into Variety magazine, and that version has "ADVERTISING SUPPLEMENT TO VARIETY" in the lower right of the front cover.
