An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Featurettes, the 1951 stock poster ("Drama Music Sports Novelty Comedy Mystery Dancing"; "A Warner Bros. Short Subject") featuring many images portraying the genres above. Note that this is a "stock" poster created by Warner Bros. for use for all entries of their "Warner Bros. Short Subject Featurette" series (apparently, they changed the name of this series from Vitaphone Short Subjects to Warner Bros. Short Subjects this very year, as there is a 1950 poster for the Vitaphone Short Subjects version). This particular stock poster was printed in 1951 (which is stamped on the back). Theaters would order this poster, which they would display whenever then would show a short from this series. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom crossfold, with some tiny bits of paper loss scattered in the bottom half of the vertical foldline, and a lesser amount of wear in the other folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
