An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Glenister of the Mounted, the 1926 Harry Garson silent Pacific Northwest Royal Canadian Mounted Police Mountie Canada (RCMP) crime action melodrama ("A whizzing action drama of the mighty North"; "Story by Arthur Guy Empey"; a complicated story of a Mountie who is rescued by a husband and wife not once, but twice, but then he is assigned to bring them in for murder, but they are able to convince him of their innocence and catch the real murderer) starring Maurice 'Lefty' Flynn (billed as "'Lefty' Flynn"; he was a star football player at Yale who kicked with his left foot, which gave him his unusual nickname), Bess Flowers, Lee Shumway, Walter James, and James Gibson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good. There is deterioration in the lower left corner, but it does not enter the image. Learn More about condition grades
