An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Creature Walks Among Us, the 1956 John Sherwood Universal science fiction (sci-fi) underwater sea monster horror thriller sequel ("Beauty and the man-beast from a lost world!"; "Terror runs rampant on the city streets... as the Monster strikes Again!"; "A city screams in terror!"; "All new underwater thrills!"; "Half monster! ...half man! A clutching claw at the heart of civilization!"; "Science baits his fury with a woman's beauty!"; "No chains can hold the power of his passions!"; "Terror stalks the city's streets!!"; "Half monster! Half man! On a rampage of revenge!"; "Story and Screenplay by Arthur Ross"; set in The Florida Everglades and San Francisco!) starring Jeff Morrow, Rex Reason, Leigh Snowden, Gregg Palmer, Maurice Manson, Ricou Browning (who played the monster underwater), and Don Megowan (who played the monster on land). Note that, in this film, scientists transport the creature from the Everglades in Florida to San Francisco, California! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Reynold Brown Condition: good. There were many pinholes in the top center of the image area, and they were roughly removed, which resulted in many tears in the creature's face, in his right shoulder (the one on the left of the poster), in the pants of the man he is holding up, one in the man's hair, and a few in the background in that area. There was very little actual paper loss in all these tears. Someone very carefully put 29 small pieces of clear tape on the back of all these tears. There was a long diagonal crease running from 1" to the left of the bottom crossfold down to the bottom border (running through the "E" of "REX"), and the same person put an 8" piece of clear tape on the back of that crease (which is odd, since there was no separation). There is tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, smudges, and some tiny tears around the edges of the poster. Obviously, this poster has real condition issues, but it is also true that if the poster were displayed on the wall exactly as it is, many people would still enjoy viewing it. And of course, any talented restorer could certainly remove the tape from the back, properly linenback the poster, and perform restoration on the above defects, after which the poster would look great. There would be some paint in the areas with the many tears, however, so bear that in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
