Soon a legend."; "From the California gold fields - to the Louisiana bayous, he drank and killed and loved and never forgot how to hate!"; "based on the character in 'The Carpetbaggers' created by Harold Robbins", "Screen story and screenplay by John Michael Hayes"; this was a "prequel" to the earlier movie, with McQueen playing a younger version of the character memorably played by Alan Ladd) starring Steve McQueen (in the title role as Nevada Smith), Karl Malden, Brian Keith, Arthur Kennedy, Suzanne Pleshette, Raf Vallone, Janet Margolin, Howard da Silva, Pat Hingle, and Martin Landau NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Foll Important Added Info: This Czech poster measures 23 1/2" x 33". Condition: fine. This poster was paperbacked and during the backing process, its extremely minor defects were repaired and it now looks really great! We only assigned this grade ("fine") to posters that were in really excellent condition prior to paperbacking, AND which were paperbacked by a top professional! The poster had an extra horizontal foldline 1" below the regular one. There were tiny creases and tiny areas of paper loss in the vertical foldline and some minor border defects. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the person who backed the poster backed it "as is", without performing any restoration.
