Rowling") starring Daniel Radcliffe (in the title role as Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (as Ron Weasley), Emma Watson (as Hermione Granger), Richard Harris (as Professor Dumbledore), Maggie Smith (as Professor McGonagall), Robbie Coltrane (as Hagrid), Ian Hart (as Professor Quirrell), Richard Brenner (as He Who Must Not Be Named), Alan Rickman (as Professor Snape), and John Cleese (as Nearly Headless Nick). Note that this film was known as "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" everywhere except the U.S., where it was known as "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". This was to keep the film consistent with the book series because the U.S. publisher, Scholastic, had changed the title of the book to "Sorcerer's". The change was likely due in part to American children not being familiar with the mythical alchemist substance. An uncited source states the publisher also thought that an American child would not want to read a book with the word 'philosopher' in the title!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster is made up of four pieces that are currently unattached. When assembled, the poster measures approximately 53" x 83"! Also note that this poster has an American rating box at lower center. If anyone knows why this Chinese poster would have an American rating, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster was somewhat tri-folded. What does that mean? Some posters were stored in a tri-folded fashion, but where someone took a group of posters and then tri-folded the entire group. This means that many of the posters have only a slight "waviness" one third of the way from the top and the bottom of the poster, but they are not actual folds. They are normally not very noticeable at all from the front of the poster, but they can be seen from the back of the poster, and they mean that the poster does not lay 100% flat. These "waves" greatly diminish if the poster is put under weight for a time, and become almost completely invisible. Most collectors consider them a very minor defect, much less of a defect than actual foldlines. Also note that this poster will be shipped rolled in a tube.
