McGowan Our Gang (also known as The Little Rascals) slapstick photography juvenile comedy short (produced by Hal Roach; in this entry, Spanky's parents take him to a photographer, and the other Our Gang kids show up briefly to mess things up, but then Spanky refuses to pose for the photographer) starring George 'Spanky' McFarland, Gay Seabrook, Emerson Treacy, Franklin Pangborn (as the hapless photographer!), Matthew 'Stymie' Beard, Tommy Bond, Jerry Tucker, Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Hal Roach, and Georgie Billings. Note that there is a very brief cameo of Laurel & Hardy appearing as "babies" getting their picture taken! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this one-sheet, and only one in the last 22 years (the last one was 8 years ago, when it sold for $1,237)! The last example has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still only one of two examples we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds, and pinholes around the edges.
