Date Sold 11/26/2023 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 127 horror/sci-fi 8 1/2" x 11" color REPRODUCTION photos. Note that these are VERY unusual and shrouded in mystery! These come to us from the estate of a man who was a teacher for many decades. We have NEVER seen any of these before, which makes us feel certain that he created them himself! What are they? They are like the "faux" lobby cards we auctioned in the last year from an individual who created fantasy 11" x 14" lobby cards with "scenes you would like to see" on them. But these measure 8 1/2" x 11", and they are printed on a quality paper stock with generally good full color printing. Our best guess is that this teacher had his students create these as a class project some time in the last few years, and because all he had was one set of each, it seems like they only printed one example of each. Each "set" has a "title card" with an image from the movie, and then the "scene cards" (which can be varying amounts, not seven like with real lobby cards) have scenes from the movie with reset credits for the movie underneath them. Many of them are quite striking, and as we say, we have never seen any others of these, so they may well be "one of a kind". But because we can't guarantee any of this (because the man who had them created is no longer with us to answer questions about them), we are selling them in bulk lots. EVERY ONE OF THESE THAT THE MAN CREATED ARE IN THESE BULK LOTS (31 in total), SO THIS IS YOUR ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE THESE REALLY COOL "FAUX" 8 1/2" X 11" PHOTOS THAT ARE LIKE LOBBY CARD SETS! But please do not bid on these unless you can accept the uncertainties about them. Measurements: 8" x 10"We made a minor GOOF! We had someone new counting the bulk lots, and they were off on the quantity of this one. It actually contains one more item than is listed in the auction (you can see it in our pictures, because the images are correct as to how many items the lot contains).
