An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Hidden Eye, the 1945 Richard Whorf canine German Shepherd dog seeing-eye-dog detective crime mystery thriller ("New adventures of the blind detective and his seeing eye dog!"; "From a story by George Harmon Coxe") starring Edward Arnold, Frances Rafferty, Ray Collins, Paul Langton, William 'Bill' Phillips, and Friday (the German Shepherd dog; "Played by Himself"). Note that three years earlier, Edward Arnold had played the same character in "Eyes in the Night", and he was a blind detective with a seeing-eye-dog named Friday (played by the same canine actor), but oddly, that dog made no other movies! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the foldlines. It had smudges by the top quarter of the vertical foldline, but they appear to be a printing defect. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
