Wellman World War II (WWII) military airplane aviation fighter pilot romantic love triangle melodrama (about an ace pilot who trains young men become pilots in World War II; one of his trainees is the son of his best buddy who was killed in the war, and the young man has a fear of heights, which, naturally, is a big problem, but his mentor tries to help him over it, but then the young man falls for the older man's girl!) starring Gene Tierney, Preston Foster, John Sutton, Jack Holt, Dame May Whitty, George Barbier, Richard Haydn, and Reginald Denny NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. The poster has a tear at upper center that runs to the right, through Sutton's face and that is repaired with tape from the back and there is a crease that extends from his ear to the right edge (that area was likely folded back at one time). There are a few inches of separation at the right edge of the upper horizontal fold and that is repaired with tape from the back as well. There are some pinholes around the edges and a few areas of wear along the folds. It can certainly be displayed as is, or after linenbacking with some restoration to the above defects the poster will display quite well. Learn More about condition grades
