'Strait-Jacket' vividly depicts ax murders!"; "From the creator of 'Psycho' and the director of 'Homicidal' and the co-star of 'What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?'"; "Her husband... her bed.. another woman... and the shiny ax... so close...! So close!") starring Joan Crawford (it is jarring to see this great 1920s to 1950s actress wielding an axe on all the poster art!), Diane Baker, Leif Erickson, Howard St. John, John Anthony Hayes, and Rochelle Hudson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Condition: very good. The left and right 1 1/2" of the poster were folded back at one time. There are creases, smudges, pinholes, and a few very tiny tears around the edges of the poster. There is a pinhole in the middle left of the blue background area and two pinholes in the right of the blue area, in Crawford's hair (one of the pins was roughly removed, and there is a V-shaped tear where the hole was. There are a few scuffs and creases scattered through the image including several creases in Crawford's hair in the color image. IN THIS SPECIAL HALLOWEEN AUCTION, we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like separation on folds, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
