An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) The Fireball, the 1950 Tay Garnett roller skating derby sports action thriller ("Rooney runs riot in the toughest game of all!"; "Rooney runs riot on the Roller Race-ways!") starring Mickey Rooney, Pat O'Brien, Beverly Tyler, James Brown, Marilyn Monroe (extremely young, notice her extremely tiny billing!), Ralph Dumke, Bert Begley, Milburn Stone, Tom Flint, John Hedloe, and Glenn Corbett (billed as "introducing Glenn Corbett"). Note that when 20th Century-Fox realized what an amazing star they had in Marilyn Monroe (who was under contract to them), they gave her bit or small parts in many movies that they made in 1950 and 1951! She is fifth billed on the posters, but she is not pictured, because her part was so small. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that Marilyn Monroe was 5th billed, but the poster designers did not find room to put her on this half-sheet, even though they found room for 18 other people!
