An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) American Madness, the 1932 Frank Capra Depression-era run-on-the-bank financial crime melodrama ("The Great American Picture of Today!"; "Story and Dialogue by Robert Riskin") starring Walter Huston, Pat O'Brien, Sterling Holloway, Kay Johnson, Constance Cummings, and Gavin Gordon. There are those (myself included) who consider this a better Capra movie than "It's a Wonderful Life" (which reprises a significant part of the plot of this movie, involving a "run" on the bank sequence, although the one in this movie is far more realistically portrayed) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
