An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Host to a Ghost, the 1947 Hal Yates supernatural haunted house horror comedy short (produced by Geothr Bilson; about a couple who rent a supposedly haunted house only to find out the "ghost" is very much alive and is the former owner hiding from his wife!) starring Edgar Kennedy, Florence Lake, Dot Farley, Jack Rice, Chester Clute, and Ida Moore NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned one example of this extremely rare poster in all our years of auctioning (and that was 19 years ago and we have auctioned NO other movie paper for this short whatsoever)! Condition: fair to good. The poster has much rippling in the lower half and there are varying amounts of stains scattered throughout (see our image). There is MUCH separation in the center vertical foldline that makes it fragile and there is a large tear at lower right. The poster is in need of restoration. Certainly a top restorer can repair the defects described above, and after, the very rare poster will display really well, but please bear in mind the poster's many defects and the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
