An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Justice Takes a Holiday, the 1933 Spencer Gordon Bennett family relationship crime prison judicial judge melodrama (about a judge who sentences a man to prison and then agrees to adopt his young daughter who has no other family; he grows to love her deeply, and when he learns that her father is likely innocent, he refuses to release him so he won't lose his daughter!; the real father escapes from prison intent on killing the judge, but when he sees how his daughter truly is better off with the judge, he returns to prison and agrees to serve out his unjust sentence, so that his daughter can stay with the judge!) starring H.B. Warner, Patricia O'Brien, Lloyd Whitlock, Lloyd Ingraham, Huntley Gordon, John Ince, Robert Frazer, Audrey Ferris, and Matty Kemp NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned one example of this extremely rare poster in all our years of auctioning (and it sold for $238)! Note also that this poster was mounted on to a backing. We don't think it is regular linen, but rather something like "Chartex", but we don't know that anyone still uses that material. Please bear this in mind before bidding. Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss on parts of the folds and some minor border wear. Someone mounted it on to a material that we don't believe is linen (see above), and performed some restoration to the folds and borders (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
