An Original Vintage Theatrical Promotional Movie Brochure (PromoBro; measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More)

Smith & Setron Advertising, the 1932 advertising promo brochure released to movie theatres by Smith & Setron Printing Company to advertise their stock printed displays for movies being released including: Down to Earth, Doctor X, Bird of Paradise, and many others. This was a company like the "other company", which printed their own posters for major movies in the 1930s, for use by theaters that (for one reason or another) had trouble getting posters directly from the studios. When National Screen Service took over most poster distribution in 1940, these companies went out of business. If anyone knows more about this particular company, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good. There are light water stains throughout and there is some tattering along the foldlines and edges.
