An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) McQ, the 1974 John Sturges Seattle Washington police detective crime action thriller ("Seattle PD"; "McQ - he's a busted cop, his gun is unlicensed, his methods are unlawful and his story is incredible!"; "Wayne on wheels..."; "Written and Co-Produced by Lawrence Roman"; about an honest detective caught up in a police department filled with corrupt members, including his own partner) starring John Wayne (in the title role as McQ), Eddie Albert, Diana Muldaur, Colleen Dewhurst, Clu Gulager, David Huddleston, and Al Lettieri ("as Santiago"). Note that there are those who feel that John Wayne was imitating Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry (from three years earlier), but there are also those who feel this is an excellent movie, although it is very downbeat. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds. It had tiny pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
