7s0280 LOT OF 10 HUNGARIAN KORAK COMIC BOOKS 1975 Edgar Rice Burroughs stories, great cover art!

a lot of 10 Hungarian Korak comic books (these were printed in Hungary but distributed in the Netherlands). Note that these comic books were given to our consignor, a major Tarzan collector for decades, by Danton Burroughs, the grandson of Edgar Rice Burroughs! Mr. Burroughs had received them directly from the publisher, and he thought our consignor would enjoy owning them! This surely explains why these comics are in exceptional condition!

Korak is a fictional character from the original Tarzan novels written by by Edgar Rice Burroughs, first appearing in "The Son of Tarzan" in 1920. He is the son of Tarzan and Jane Porter. He was kidnapped from his parents when he was young and, by an amazing coincidence, he also was raised by apes in the jungle, just like his father. One would think that this would make him a duplicate of Tarzan, but actually, he had some clear differences, and was a completely separate character in the books. Of course, in the Johnny Weissmuller movies, their son was completely different from the character in the novels. He was called "Boy", and was played by Johnny Sheffield. Note that the items in this lot are from 1975. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them.

Please note that we don't use a "comic guide" grading system, and OUR grading scale is completely different from standard comic book grading. Our "very good" is completely different from a comic book graded "very good". We provide images of the comic book covers, which should allow you to get a sense of the condition of the comics in this bulk lot.
