Living monsters of pre-history Alive before your eyes - In a hidden island in the Pacific!"; "Prehistoric Monsters of an unknown world invade the world of today!"; "So spectacular - It took one year to produce! See: Pre-historic denizens that defy the imagination! See: King tyrant lizards in deadly combat! See: Man's puny attempt to defeat monstrous beasts!"; "It's out of this world - Alive on a forbidden continent 60,000,000 years ago! Wonders never before beheld by man!"; "Colossal! A new world of adventures from a world of 60,000,000 years ago!"; "Alive--strange--stirring!") starring Virginia Grey, Philip Reed, Barton MacLane, Richard Denning, Richard Wessell, Daniel White, Phillip Nazir, and and Ray 'Crash' Corrigan (as the man in the really fake ape suit!). Note that Crash Corrigan made a REALLY wise investment in the 1930s, when he bought a "gorilla suit". In many of the movies in the 1940s where there is a fake gorilla, it is played by Crash Corrigan, no doubt because he could supply the suit! Also note that the movie was released by Film Classics, and that this company was the original releasing studio for this low budget fantasy sci-fi movie (they also distributed re-releases of better known titles, but they did do the first release of some low budget movies of the 1940s). Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a group of 11 laminated lobby cards that were consigned to us from a collector who had them professionally laminated in 1982, by a company in Rhode Island that did lamination map work for the U.S. Government. Many collectors do not like laminated lobby cards, but, WHEN IT IS DONE BY A TALENTED PROFESSIONAL, they stay EXACTLY as they were prior to lamination, even, as in the case of these cards, after decades, which would indicate that lamination surely DOES an excellent job of protecting the cards from any deterioration or aging. I am looking at these 11 cards in person as I write this, and all look exactly like they did when they were laminated so many years ago! In any event, know that it is quite likely that there is no way to reverse this process, so PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS LOBBY CARD UNLESS YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A LAMINATED LOBBY CARD! Condition: good.
