An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Danish Movie Poster (measures 23 3/4" x 34 1/4" [60 x 87 cm]) (Learn More) Tragodie Im Hause Habsburg (literally translates to "Tragedy in the House of Habsburg"), the 1924 Alexander Korda German silent romantic melodrama starring Maria Corda, Emil Fenyvessy, Kalman Zatony (billed as "Koloman Zatony"), Louis Ralph, and Werner Schott. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that star Maria Corda was a major Hungarian silent film actress who moved to Germany, where she was directed by Alexander Corda, who she married. At the height of her fame, he was mostly known as her director! But when sound came in, her career diminished greatly, and they were divorced in 1932, and he changed his name to Alexander Korda, and became one of the most famous British producers ever! Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded across the middle at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There is some tattering and paper loss around the edges of the poster (mostly across the top edge) and there are two small tears in the right of the horizontal fold in the man's hair. The blank border on the left side of the poster is much thinner than the blank border on the right, but the poster does not appear to have been trimmed and this appears to be the way it was printed. There are some minor scuff marks and a few tiny dot stains scattered throughout the poster, but they are not very noticeable or distracting.
