An Original Vintage Linenbacked French Stage Play Poster (measures 31" x 46 3/4" [79 x 119 cm]) (Learn More)

Betsy, the 1927 French stage play opera production (of the work by Gabriel Bonincontro and Geo Charley). Note that this poster features Pascal Bastia artwork of a woman wearing cowgirl clothing with a holstered pistol. Apparently, this 1927 version was "re-worked" from an earlier 1924 version. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had some vertical tears in the center of the top and bottom, with some tiny paper loss on parts of the tears. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
