Leon Morin, pretre (released in the U.S. as "The Forgiven Sinner"), the 1961 Jean-Pierre Melville French/Italian World War II (WWII) era France religion melodrama (about a beautiful young widow in Occupied France in the 1940s, who lives alone with her little girl, and she begins a relationship with a handsome young priest, arguing about how he can believe in his religion, given all that is going on in the world at that time) starring Jean-Paul Belmondo, Emmanuele Riva, Irene Tunc, Nicole Mirel, and Gisele Grimm

Artist: Raymond Gid
Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this partially French movie! Also note that the poster has an artist's signature on it, but we cannot make it out in the slightest. If anyone knows the name of this artist, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded across the middle and there was very light fold and border wear. There was some sort of faint tax stamp in the lower right white background area, and some ink transfer from that stamp in the upper right white background area. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer left alone the traces of the stamp in the upper and lower background areas.
